How to use our new Webmail

1. Login

Enter your username and password, and select your preferred language in the requested fields. Click Log in.


2. Setting Preferences

At any time you can set your preferences in your Uniserve Webmail interface by clicking on the “Options” icon in the top menu.

As you can see, you have numerous ways to configure the Webmail to suit your taste.


3. Creating Folders

You can create additional folders to better organize you mail. Here is how to create a new folder:

  1. Scroll down the « Choose Action » menu and click on « Create folder »
  2. Choose a descriptive name for the new folder and type in the field. Click on “OK”.

As you will see, a new folder has been created.


4. Creating your Address book

For you convenience, you can add contacts to your Address Book with whom you exchange email.

  1. Click on « Address Book » in the top menu.
  2. Click on “New contact”.
  3. Enter the contact info of the person you want to send email to. All fields are optional except for the name and email.
  4. When you are finished, press « Save » at the bottom of the page.

You have successfully added a new contact to your Address Book.


5. Sending Mail

Here is how to send an email to yourself to test that everything is working properly.

  1. Click on « Webmail » in the left menu.
  2. Click on « New message ». A new window will open.
  3. Enter your email address in the « To » field. This is where you usually enter the address of the person you want to send mail to.
  4. Enter « Test » in the « Subject » field.
  5. Type in « Test email » in the text field.
  6. Click « Send » at the bottom.
  7. Refresh the page to check for the new email in your inbox.

As you can see, your email arrives safe and sound.


6. Managing your email

Click on the sender’s name or on the subject of you received email to open it. Once you’ve read your email, you can decide if you wish to delete it or store it in one of your folders.

To move an email to a folder for future reference, scroll down the menu on the top right corner or your inbox and select a destination for your message, and then click on « move ».

7. Managing your Spam folder

In order to reduce the amount of unwanted email in your inbox, any message that appears to be spam is automatically moved to your spam folder. You can adjust the sensitivity level of your anti-spam tool, according to your preferences, from the account management interface My Account.

Do not forget to check your spam folder once in a while to make sure no valid email got caught in your spam folder my mistake.


8. Adjust your anti-spam tool according to your preferences

9. Logout

Don’t forget to logout after your session.


10. Need help? Look for the buoy icons.

You can also click on “Help” in the top menu, or fill our enquiry form by clicking on “Problem”, in which case one of our technicians will get back to you shortly with an answer.

That’s it! You are now able to manage your web based email using Uniserve’s Webmail.
