At Inter.net Canada your online privacy is a serious issue, which
is why we have outlined such a respectful and comprehensive Privacy
Statement.
The Privacy Statement will detail the following information:

I. Information Inter.net Canada Gathers/tracks
The Inter.net Canada Web site automatically captures the visitor's
IP address (e.g. whether the user is logged on from a .ca, .com,
.gov or .edu domain). It will also record a subscriber's first and
last name, postal address, email address, phone number, and company
name. In the case of online contests and surveys, Inter.net Canada
may request your name, username, and contact information, as well
as other questions regarding your computer system, platform and
browser, or your personal Web preferences as a requirement of entry.

II. Use of the Information Inter.net Canada
Gathers/tracks
The goal of Inter.net Canada is to be your launching pad to the
World Wide Web and provide you with the information, products and
services you desire. To achieve this goal Inter.net Canada may need
to gather personal information. This personal information is collected
for the purposes of product monitoring, product/service improvement
and, in some cases, targeted advertising. In addition, we may use
personal information to dynamically generate certain pages on our
Web site and to send members our monthly email newsletter if they
subscribe. We never sell or redistribute personal information.
In the case of contest entry information, Inter.net Canada reserves
the right to publish the winner's name and answers on our Web site.

III. Information Disclosure
Unless you consent in writing thereto or unless disclosure is required
by law, Inter.net Canada will not disclose any personal information
pertaining to you, to any party other than:
- An agent or credit agency retained by Inter.net Canada to collect
any overdue amounts owed to Inter.net Canada by you pursuant to
the terms of our Service Agreement;
- Administrative personnel of Inter.net Canada, provided that
the personal information is released to such personnel solely
for Inter.net Canada's internal administrative purposes;
- Any Inter.net Canada agent or contractor requiring such personal
information for the sole purpose of permitting the provision to
you of the Service to be provided by Inter.net Canada pursuant
to the terms of the Service Agreement; and
- As may be required by any binding law or government decree.

IV. Security Against Information Loss, Theft
Inter.net Canada has security measures in place to attempt to protect
you against the loss, misuse and alteration of your user data that
is under our control. In all cases, your information is retained
in secure facilities, protected from unauthorized access and kept
only as long as is reasonably required. Only authorized employees
who have a need to know your information for the purposes described
in this policy have access to the information you provide. Inter.net
Canada has strict non-disclosure contracts with all Inter.net Canada
employees who have access to the databases storing user information
or to the servers hosting our services. Any other particularly sensitive
information, such as your credit card number collected for account
payment, is encrypted on our servers and only access to the last
four numbers is available to employees for security check and user-confirmation
purposes.
Inter.net Canada is not liable for any illegal use of your personal
information that is beyond our reasonable control. You are ultimately
responsible for the security of your Inter.net Canada ID and password:

Canada recommends that you do not divulge your password to anyone
and that you change your password regularly. You should log out
of your browser at the end of each computer session to ensure that
others cannot access your personal information and correspondence,
especially if you share a computer with someone else or are using
a computer in a public place like a library or Internet café.

V. Privacy related complaints
If you believe that Inter.net Canada has not complied with its
Privacy Statement with respect to your personal information, you
may write the Inter.net Canada Privacy Officer at the address indicated
above.
In your letter please describe, in as much detail as possible,
the manner in which you believe Inter.net Canada has not complied
with its Privacy Statement. We will investigate your complaint promptly.
Please note that if you provide Inter.net Canada with inconsistent
privacy preferences (for example, by indicating on one occasion
that third parties may contact you with marketing offers and indicating
on another occasion they may not), Inter.net Canada cannot guarantee
your most recent privacy preference will be honoured.
