Job Purpose: Providing superlative customer service is critical
to the success of our business. This position is responsible for all aspects
of providing quality telephone and electronic support to Inter.net's clients,
and assists customers in resolving problems.
Position Responsibilities:
- Help customers to sign-up for our service, choose a method of payment
and a user name;
- Help customers to configure their system for the Internet service
- Change and confirm username and password
- Handle general account services customer inquiries;
- Call back clients who ask for assistance;
- Fax/Mail/Email sales/ information as required
- Answer general inquiries about products and services;
- Other responsibilities as assigned by manager.
Experience
- Minimum of six months experience in customer service
- Post-secondary studies or equivalent education and experience
Required Knowledge
- Thorough knowledge of the internet
- Working knowledge of Internet browsers and email
- Must have enough familiarity with Windows 95, 98,ME, 2000 to perform
the following :
- Installation and removal of dial-up networking
- Creation, deletion and configuration of DUN Connections
- Installation, removal and configuration of network components
- Installation, removal and configuration of modems
- Bilingual - French and English
- Must be empathetic to customers and willing to act in their interests
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be autonomous or work in a group
- Knowledge of dial-up network
