MANUALLY CHANGE YOUR DIAL-UP
NUMBER
We have recently applied some changes to our network. Please make sure that you always connect to the
following new access numbers depending on your area (if you connect from a city that is not
listed below, please ignore this notice):
How to proceed:
Step 1: Identify
your new local access number in the list below. Make sure to select
an access number that is local for the location from which you
will connect.

Step 2: Once you've
identified the appropriate local number, change your dialup settings
by following the step-by-step instructions below for your computer's
operating system.
WINDOWS 95/98
1. From your desktop, double-click on My Computer.
2. Double-click on Dial-up Networking.
3. Right-click on your connection and choose Properties.
4. Type in the number you wish to dial into.
5. Click on "OK".
6. Double-click on your connection and click Connect to use the
new number.
WINDOWS NT
1. From your desktop, double-click on My Computer.
2. Double-click on Dial-up Networking.
3. Click on More and choose Edit entry and modem properties.
4. Type in the number you wish to dial into.
5. Click on "OK", and then click Dial to use the new
number.
WINDOWS ME
1. From your desktop, double-click on My Computer.
2. Double-click on Control Panel.
3. Double-click on Dial-up Networking.
4. Right-click on your connection and choose Properties.
5. Type in the number you wish to dial into.
6. Click on "OK"
7. Double-click on your connection and click Connect to use the
new number.
WINDOWS 2000
1. From your desktop, double-click on My Computer.
2. Double-click on Control Panel.
3. Double-click on Network and Dial-up Connections.
4. Right-click on your connection and choose Properties.
5. Type in the number you wish to dial into.
6. Click on "OK".
7. Double-click on your connection and click Dial to use the new
number.
WINDOWS XP
1. From your desktop, click on the Start button.
2. Place your mouse on Connect to, an extended menu will appear.
3. In the extended menu, click on Show all connections.
4. In the Dial-up section, right-click on your connection and
choose Properties.
5. Type in the number you wish to dial into.
6. Click on "OK".
7. Double-click on your connection and click Connect to use the
new number.
MAC OS 8.1 +
1. From your Desktop, click on the Apple Menu.
2. Scroll down and click on Control Panels.
3. On the drop-down menu, click on Remote Access.
4. In the Number field, type in the number you wish to dial into.
NOTE: If you do not see the Number field, make sure the arrow
by Setup is pointing down.
5. Close the window and save the changes.
MAC OS X
1. From your Desktop, click on the Apple Menu.
2. Scroll down and click on System Preferences.
3. In the Internet & Network section, click on Network.
4. In the “Show:” drop-down menu, select Internal
Modem.
5. Click on the PPP tab.
6. In the Telephone Number field, type in the number you wish
to dial into.
7. Click on "Apply Now" to save the modification.
