notice
Dear Inter.net Canada customer,
10-digit local dialing: Update your dialup connection settings!
Starting in June 17th, 2006, 10-digit local dialing will
be standard practice across most of Ontario and Quebec.
People living or working in affected regions will have to
dial 10 digits — the area code followed by the 7-digit
phone number for all local communications, including dialup
Internet access.
Regions served by the area codes
418, 450, 514, 519, 613, 705 or 819
will be affected*
Please make sure that your dialup connection settings include
the area code; otherwise you may not be able to connect
to the Internet after June 17, 2006.
